How to setup Xilinx ISE libraries for simulation

This tutorial explains how to compile Xilinx ISE libraries for simulation purposes.

1. Start Modelsim
2. From Transcript window, enter "compxlib", and follow the GUI instructions. Note that the libraries should be recompiled for each new revision of ISE.
